The communities and businesses from the Côte d’Azur at the 14th “Fiera del Marrone” in Cuneo

Since its very first edition in 2008, the Fiera del Marrone (which is a variety of chestnut) has proven to be one of the most important events in Piedmont for promoting the territory and traditional products from the Cuneo area (Piedmont).

The presentation to the Nice authorities and economic operators took place at the Consulate General of Italy, in the presence of Consul General Luciano Barillaro, conducted by the Mayor of Cuneo, Federico Borgna, and the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Nice, Ms. Patrizia Dalmasso. Once again, from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 October, the historic center of the city of Cuneo will have the pleasure of celebrating the Chestnut and many other traditional products from the Provincia Granda and other regions of Italy.

The event increasingly promotes and supports both the fruit and the wood of the chestnut tree, whose commercialization is preserved and encouraged.

At the same time, the Fair is an essential opportunity to promote local tourism, highlight the beauties of the city of Cuneo and the surrounding valleys, and showcase the oenological and gastronomic specialties of the region.

The fourteenth edition takes place in the historic center of the city and covers an area of over 12,000 square meters.

So, a little trip to Piedmont this weekend?
