On January 25th and 26th, the Compagnons du Devoir are hosting open days at their 52 Houses spread across France. They will be presenting their training offer for young people, ranging from CAP to Professional License. In the Nice region, the event will take place at the association’s house in Cagnes sur Mer, 19 chemin des Travails.

The Compagnons du Devoir Houses are opening their doors to the general public: young people and their families will be able to discover the fields of study and career opportunities offered by the Grande École des Hommes de Métier en Compagnonnage.

Conferences, guided tours, demonstrations, and activities are planned to inform visitors—parents, high school students, college students, and middle schoolers about the various training paths to the professions.

To illustrate the expertise, techniques, materials, and the convivial atmosphere that prevails in the Compagnons du Devoir Houses, some establishments have created an innovative challenge that brings together trades around a common project: the creation of an “automatophone.”

As specialists in vocational training, the Compagnons du Devoir offer several training paths that guarantee employment, a salary, and higher education degrees, up to the license level. Supervised by professionals grounded in the reality of today’s work world who know how to pass on their expertise, young people benefit from quality education.

All the trainings are based on mobility, one of the key values of the Compagnons du Devoir, with at least one year of training abroad. No fewer than 46 countries currently host young people in training with the Compagnons du Devoir, enabling them to master a second or even a third language, which is an essential skill today.
