For its second edition, the Côte d’Azur Sport Film Festival will be held in Nice from September 26 to 29. The program includes film screenings, symposiums, and debates organized around Olympic values and the promotion of sports in society.

This festival is also organized in 16 other countries across the five continents by FICTS (Fédération Internationale Cinéma et Télévision Sportif).

The film screenings will take place in Nice and its surrounding metropolitan area, particularly at the Musée National du Sport.

This year, the jury will be chaired by Gérard Camy, a professor and film historian. He will be joined by 5 other individuals, including Philippe Manassero, president of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Olympic Committee, Ivan Coste-Manière, president of the Regional Olympic Committee, Bernard Maccario, Doctor of Educational Science, Jean-Gérard Guarino, Vice-President of the Panathlon Club of Nice, and Bastien Leblanc, audiovisual professional.

Together they will have the arduous task of selecting the film that best highlights the spirit of Olympism.

“We received over 300 applications, and a working group of young interns helped us with the organization by selecting a shortlist. The jury chose the finalists and the films that will receive awards,” explains Claire Peradotto, president of the organizing association.
