In a decision rendered today, the Council of State annulled the three orders issued by the Nice Administrative Tribunal on December 5, 2019. At the request of the companies Les Voiliers, Lido Plage, and Sporting Plage, the Administrative Tribunal had decided to censure the awarding procedure aimed at the operation of lots 5, 9, and 10 of the Nice beach.
Then addressing the case on its merits, the Council of State validated the procedure conducted by the Metropole and rejected all the arguments put forward by the three applicant companies.
This deliberation will allow for the opening of Nice’s 14 beaches and 3 nautical bases.
