The Court of Cassation rejected the civil party application submitted by the City of Nice for the July 14, 2016 attack.

The City of Nice decided to join as a civil party to support the victims in the procedures and investigations aimed at shedding full light on this tragedy.

According to Christian Estrosi: “In any case, the municipality will continue to fight alongside the victims to ensure that all light is shed on the circumstances of the attack.”
