Julien Neel, the author and creator of the comic book series Lou! will be signing copies at the Fnac in Nice this Wednesday, December 6, to celebrate the release of the 2nd volume of Lou!Sonata.
Lou is the iconic comic book heroine for an entire generation. Her creator and author, Julien Neel, continues to tell the story of the adolescent who becomes a young adult in a second season full of twists and turns.
Now an iconic character in French comics, Lou reappeared in this new series titled Lou!Sonata in 2020. She is now 20 years old and starting her life as a student.
As the series approaches its 20th anniversary, fans who grew up with Lou continue to follow, eager to see the evolution of the protagonist created in 2004. Readers met Lou at age 12, during her first steps in middle school, in the first volume Journal intime.
A new bright and festive volume
Through the books, the young, blonde, funny, and creative girl, close to her single mother, grows up. Volume by volume, she faces various issues that occur in a teenager’s life. After the 8 volumes of a first season that became emblematic, this second bright and festive graphic novel brings together all the series’ essential characters.
Music sets the pace for this new episode of Lou’s life. Thanks to a piece of land she inherits in Mortebouse, she turns away from studies and throws herself into organizing the greatest music festival the region has ever seen.
