After the opening of the departmental delegation of Cress in Var last March, it is now the turn of the Alpes-Maritimes delegation to make its debut. For the second time, the region hosts the departmental delegation of the Regional Chamber of Social and Solidarity Economy Enterprises of Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโAzur (Cress Paca).
Entrepreneurs and bankers gathered for the event. And it was in the presence of Denis Philippe, regional president of the social and solidarity economy enterprises of Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโAzur, that the ceremony was opened. On the agenda was a round table to animate the debate on โthe challenges of transition.โ In the region, one in ten people is employed in a social and solidarity economy enterprise. Hence, the interest in social and solidarity economy remains constant. Its objective is to contribute to regional and local economic life with a focus on the local economy.
โThe necessity of having a local delegation is important. Meeting, exchanging ideas, and creating a local network are essential to make the small businesses in the region function,โ explains Denis Philippe, president of the social and solidarity economy enterprises of Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโAzur. โJoining the social and solidarity economy also means becoming part of a service universe. Cress offers solutions to entrepreneurs, and the regional chamber seems to gradually be covering the entire department. In July, it will be represented in Vaucluse, and then in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Hautes-Alpes by the end of 2018.โ
