Alain Koubi, President of the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee, presented the CROS Côte d’Azur’s wishes during a convivial evening in Valbonne.
“Giving, receiving, sharing: these fundamental virtues of athletes are timeless and universal. They represent sports.”
These virtues were proudly upheld by our 12 medalist athletes from the Côte d’Azur at the London Games, who thrilled us at every competition. With 2013, a page turns, but their achievements endure.
As sport has become one of the French’s top resolutions for the new year, CROS Côte d’Azur must integrate sports into all sectors.”
In conclusion, he reminded that: “The very foundations of sports as a vector of social bonds have been transmitted through each of our actions.”
On this occasion, CROS Côte d’Azur honored the leaders and volunteers for their service and dedication.

The CROS CÔTE D’AZUR ETHICS and FAIR-PLAY AWARD (Promotion 2012)
The CROS Côte d’Azur award for Ethics and Fair Play honors those who have exemplified these principles, who have worked to promote them, or who have performed a significant act of sports ethics throughout 2012. This award concerns practitioners, of course, but also leaders, coaches, referees, or associations for their actions in favor of sports ethics.
