The CROS Cรดte d’Azur organized an awards evening on Wednesday, January 11 at the Citadel of Villefranche-sur-Mer in the presence of the mayor, Gerard Grosgogeat, who himself is a former high-level athlete (fencer).
It was a very beautiful, festive, and friendly evening during which the following were awarded:
The Ethics and Fair Play Award recognizing a significant act of sports ethics was awarded by the Commission chaired by Jean-Pierre Morato (who was also the brilliant master of ceremonies) to the young fencer Tyvan Bibard and karate practitioners Gabriel Fribourg and Michel Boullanger.
The CROS Medals (5 gold and 7 bronze), recognizing volunteers who have worked for 20 years or more in the service of Azurian sport.
A special award was given to Madame Marguerite Baesa (City of Mougins).
9 diplomas of the Certificate of Training in Association Management.
The President of the CROS, Alain Koubi, extended his personal wishes and those of the Committee to the Azurian sports world.
At the end of this beautiful ceremony, each league president and Regional Committee received 150 posters (designed by Stรฉphane/SizeR Graffiti – Collectif 2CU&CDK Crew) produced by the Ethics and Fair Play Commission of the CROS as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the cleanliness of sports practice.
