Cyril and Anthony, two people from Reims who have been inseparable since they were fifteen, form Les Cuissards. A conceptual name referring to the padded shorts of cyclists.
Cyril Gervasoni started by pursuing studies in commerce, then worked in the banking sector, quite far from the comedy stage.
Anthony Guerreiro, a Nice resident by adoption for two years, studied at CERAM Sophia Antipolis, and then spent two years in England in finance.
Die-hard comedians and close friends, the two partners create their humor and characters, which would later become their show.
One day, they decided to take the plunge. The two big kids gave themselves a year to succeed in the comedy scene, a year to try everything. Things started happening when they were spotted and then produced by “Juste pour rire.”
They auditioned for the show “Plié en 4,” hosted by Cyril Hanouna and aired on France 4, and quickly became, along with Yann Stotz, the main providers of sketches. In 2009, they found themselves touring throughout France with the “Route du rire.”
In constant evolution, they have just created their label “the Sketch Connection” with their comedian friends they met on stage.
A zany sketch show featuring caricatured characters evolving in deliciously offbeat humor, but also with extreme complicity that sometimes leads to distracting each other into contagious laughter.
In a pink shirt and with a dainty air, Anthony sashays in his atypical characters. Cyril takes on the role of the slightly silly brute but incredibly funny.
On a large French tour, they forge friendships and pleasure both on stage and in real life. “It’s great to be able to live this way, from your passion. We hope this continues,” confides Cyril during a photo session on the pebbles of Nice. “Plus, we love Nice, so we’re really happy here!”
This week, Les Cuissards return to the stage with their friends: Tano, Florent Peyre, and Yann Stotz.
“We’re very happy to reunite with our friends, we’re really going to enjoy sharing the stage with them!” assures Anthony, with a cartoonish smile. A must-see for those who love to laugh!
