“Nissa XXI” is a program aimed at promoting and transmitting historical and cultural heritage to young people in Nice.
Offered within schools and leisure centers in the city, this program includes several components such as the installation of bilingual French/Niçois signs and plaques in Nice’s schools, the creation of educational booklets for younger generations, and the establishment of thematic leisure centers.
This Thursday, at Terra Amata school, several events dedicated to the prehistoric site will take place as part of “Nissa XXI”:
Unveiling of a bilingual French-Niçois sign and plaque explaining the origins of the school’s name;
Visit to the permanent exhibition of unpublished works by Niçois artist Raymond Moretti, inspired by Prehistory;
Presentation of the first bilingual French-Niçois educational booklet, dedicated to the history of the Terra Amata site.
