The dancing afternoons for seniors at the Palais des Rois Sardes in Nice

Latest News

From Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the Palais des Rois Sardes, 10 Rue de la Préfecture in Nice, after a hiatus in July, the Senior Balls organized by the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes resume dancing every Monday and Thursday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The former deliberation room of the Palais des Rois Sardes, a prestigious historical and heritage site, is getting ready to take on a festive atmosphere once again. Twice a week, every Monday and Thursday, it will transform into a dance hall to welcome, free of charge, seniors from the Alpes-Maritimes aged over 55 who wish to participate in these balls.

Launched in October 2012, these balls have been a great success among all dance enthusiasts who come to enjoy this activity accompanied by an orchestra offering a variety of rhythms: tango, waltz, paso doble, disco, madison…

These dancing afternoons are also an opportunity for seniors to spend a moment of conviviality, particularly around a light snack that is offered to them.
