Exclusively on December 2nd, Fabienne Carat colored the show “Passion Azur,” hosted by Adrien Mangano, on France Bleu Azur with “Darkpink.” And guess what? That day, Nice-Premium was also tinged with this musical and fragrant color.

But who is the author, you ask? Her name is Fabienne Carat, and between you and me, this lady is a real hard worker and an artist with many skills in her arsenal! She dances, cooks, draws, cuts hair, writes, decorates, acts on stage, and also acts behind a television camera. But yes, her lovely face must seem familiar: Fabienne plays the role of Samia Nassri in the series “Plus belle la vie.” And today, we present her to you as a singer.

In her first album, Fabienne offers you eleven cheerful and rhythmic tracks, eight of which were written by her hand. It includes love stories: betrayal, romantic disappointment, stifled passion, happiness, friendship … and also cigarettes: “I’m not a smoker, but I suffered from not starting because smoking facilitates integration and gives presence when you’re young. It’s not easy to start smoking, but it’s even harder to quit. Better not start! I’m very sensitive to this subject, and I spoke about it like a former smoker,” explains Fabienne. “In this album, I also speak about my dad. I send him a message of love. In these songs, there are many lived inspirations transcribed poetically,” she continues.

Musical universe and also? “Olfactory. I am passionate about perfume. I’ve been mixing my perfumes for over fifteen years. I never found a perfume that suits me. Every morning, I mix five or six perfumes. It becomes an anxiety over time. So, the perfume I created in Grasse, it’s me. The fragrance traces the Darkpink universe. It is fruity, caramelized, warm, sweet, and at the same time, it has patchouli notes that reflect the strong intensity present in this universe. It resembles me. I am proud of it. And ironically, it suits men very well! Although the packaging is very feminine, this perfume is for everyone,” presents Fabienne Carat.
And if “Darkpink” were a dessert? “It would be a blueberry tart. The crust would be the sweetness, substance, comfort, and the fruits would represent the color, sweetness, acidity, tangy notes,” answers Fabienne. Appetizing, isn’t it?
