South Africa, Germany, England, China, the United States, Spain, France, and Russia will attempt to make it onto the final podium, where the United States emerged victorious in 2010, closely followed by Russia and Germany, with France finishing in 4th place, just 3 points short of the Germans.
On the French side, Christine Arron and Christophe Lemaitre will aim to win their 100m events while Renaud Lavillenie will shoot for first place in the pole vault in the Nice sky. Salim Sdiri and Eloyse Lesueur will try to reach the right length in the long jump competition while Gaëtan Bucki and Jessica Cerival will aim for the podium in the shot put event.
