This is very good news for art lovers, for those who remain sensitive to the beauty of things. I don’t remember who said: “Place a work of art in a room and immediately harmony will reign!”

Many exhibitions were held in this way, and then in the spring of 2014, with the return of longer days, Christian Depardieu surprised us by opening a new gallery in the center of Nice, just a stone’s throw from Place Massรฉna and Promenade du Paillon.
This venue, with a room whose three pillars give it a theatrical look, will host exhibitions, with a balcony and a basement planned for concerts. The musical evenings were very popular on Boulevard Risso and will be even more so here in a larger space. Christian Depardieu explains that he needs to soundproof the venue. Nevertheless, as of April 9, a jazz concert, guitar, and piano will be held. This Thursday was the first collective opening with the gallery’s regular artists.
Two more are scheduled: one on April 24 and a third on May 22. The current exhibition runs until April 18. Among many others are Marcel Alocco, Martin Miguel, Hanna Elf, and Olivier Lannaud. A female photographer deserves special mention here. Martine Barret and her series of photos of Harlem.
These portraits captured in this New York neighborhood will be the ideal backdrop for the concert on April 9. In this central area, an art gallery is welcome and should quickly become a stop for tourists interested in artistic events.
If Dr. Jacques Guidoni Street, former Gioffredo Passage, is little known, it will quickly gain fame among all those interested in modern art.
