The Department has distributed surgical masks to Niรงois Taxis
Since the beginning of the health crisis, the Alpes-Maritimes Department has been fully mobilized in the fight against COVID-19 and supports all the residents of the region.
In this context, Eric Ciotti, representing Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, President of the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes, handed over surgical masks to Niรงois Taxis, in the presence of Fabrice Cavallera, President of Niรงois Taxis, and Michel Tricart, President of U2P 06.
Taxis, like all other economic players, have borne a heavy toll during this crisis.
To this end, the Departmental Council, alongside the consular chambers and local authorities of the Alpes-Maritimes, has launched, under the aegis of the CCI Nice Cรดte d’Azur, the release of an exceptional emergency fund amounting to a total of 8 million euros, of which 5 million euros is contributed by the Alpes-Maritimes Department. This fund is intended for businesses, artisans, and merchants in its territory that have been affected by this unprecedented health and economic crisis.
