On Friday, the Departmental Council presented the partnership with the Heritage Foundation in favor of Notre-Dame de Paris.
In the face of the ashes, solidarity leaps. Following the dramatic incident of April 15, the Alpes Maritimes Department called on the State to launch a national subscription. A contribution of 1 euro per inhabitant. To date, more than 20 departments have responded to the call by mobilizing. Thus, the Department is partnering with the Heritage Foundation and its delegate Jean-Louis Marques to carry out an effective local collection.
Which communities are participating?
The department announced the gradual implementation of collection boxes. Territorial coverage is provided by the Departmental Houses, Departmental Solidarity Houses, as well as the Senior Houses.
From then on, donors from the Maralpins region can visit the following sites:
- Departmental Houses: Nice-Center, Menton, Roquebiliรจre, Plan-du-Var, Saint-Martin-Vรฉsubie, Saint-Andrรฉ-de-la-Roche, Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinรฉe, Saint-Etienne-de-Tinรฉe (office hours).
- Departmental Solidarity Houses: Antibes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Cannes East, Cannes West, Grasse North, Grasse South, Le Cannet, Plan-du-Var, Menton, Nice Ariane, Nice Center, Nice Cessole, Nice Liautey, Nice Magnan, Nice West, Nice Port, Saint-Andrรฉ-de-la-Roche, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Vallauris.
- Senior Houses: Nice Center, Nice North, Nice East.
The donation project will be submitted to the vote of the departmental elected officials. A payment authorization will be established to allow the Foundation to finance expenses related to the reconstruction of the national symbol that is Notre-Dame de Paris.
