The launch of this new Exceptional Health Call for Projects is one of the numerous actions of the “Health Plan 06 – coronavirus epidemic.”
The primary objective of this Exceptional Health Call for Projects is to support the development and accelerate the implementation of innovative projects, developed by research and clinical teams in the department, to combat COVID-19 (prevention, screening, diagnosis, management of viral pathologies) and more broadly to act against pandemics.
In the context of technical, technological, or usage innovations in the healthcare field, the central theme chosen for this Exceptional Health Call for Projects is “COVID-19 Research – fight against pandemics.”
The following areas are specifically sought:
– Applied research in epidemiology-virology and clinical research;
– E-health and new technologies as a means to better treat, improve the continuity of care, and enhance the dissemination of clinical progress. Artificial Intelligence as a way to better assist clinicians and researchers in the fields of epidemiology and virology. Additionally, personalized treatments facilitated by processing medical data (databases);
– Addressing sociological aspects and mental health related to pandemic management;
– The organization and coordination of patient care and treatment.
