Since the early hours of the October 2 disaster, which has bereaved families and caused immense material damage, the Department has been tirelessly mobilizing to assist its residents and its territory.
Thus, a one-stop service has been set up to help and support victims with their procedures (financial aid, support cell, insurance contact point, mortgage statements…)
The Department also offers financial assistance (following a social evaluation conducted by the Department’s agents).
Individuals who have lost their main homes will receive a flat-rate compensation of €5,000, and those who have suffered material damage will receive up to €1,500.
Entrepreneurs, artisans, merchants, and farmers who have suffered material damage will receive up to €5,000.
Entrepreneurs, artisans, and merchants who have lost their businesses will receive up to €10,000.
