The COVID-19 pandemic hit the Alpes-Maritimes hard.
It is the entire economy of the region that is now in great difficulty.
During the lockdown, more than 3,000 people entered the system, which represents a 15% increase. As the crisis ends, a large number of job seekers reaching the end of their rights by May 31, 2020, will also, in significant part, apply for RSA.
Thus, the community estimates the additional burden for 2020 at more than 27 million euros.
That is why, through the “Act for Employment” plan, the Department aims to support businesses and individuals in precarious situations.
The plan provides for giving employers in both commercial and non-commercial sectors who hire a RSA beneficiary and commit to training them an amount of 497 euros per month through a Single Integration Contract for a period of 6 to 12 months.
