On Friday, March 22, Mr. Eric Ciotti, Deputy, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, and Jacques Boudot, President of the Departmental Association of Parents and Friends of People with Mental Disabilities of Alpes-Maritimes (ADAPEI AM), will sign a Multi-Year Contract of Objectives and Means (CPOM) for 2013-2017, for the establishments and services funded by the Department.
The General Council defines and implements the social action policy in the Alpes-Maritimes territory, relying on social and medico-social associations and institutions.
Aiming to improve the service provided to social aid beneficiaries while managing costs, the Department commits with its partners in CPOMs that aim to optimize the resources deployed for users while securing the financing of structures.
A first CPOM was signed with the Departmental Association for the Protection of Children to Adults (ADSEA) in 2012, allowing for the release of management margins that will be used to finance a new living center in the town of Contes, which is scheduled to open in 2014.
The current CPOM signed with ADAPEI AM is part of this approach and a relationship of trust between the Department and the Association, to implement measures aimed at improving the quality of support for people with disabilities.
