The Alpes-Maritimes Department, with the aim of “assigning duties alongside rights,” will offer recipients counterparts for the payment of the RSA (Revenu de Solidaritรฉ Active or Active Solidarity Income).
The new initiative is part of the strategy to reintegrate RSA beneficiaries into employment through voluntary experimentation. The objective is to provide beneficiaries with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a professional environment and benefit from a concrete integration action aimed at remobilizing for employment.
What are the objectives?
It involves offering animation activities for residents in EHPADs (nursing homes for dependent elderly persons). To propose an integration and socially useful action for RSA beneficiaries who are far from employment. Lastly, to offer qualifying training actions in personal care professions for RSA beneficiaries who wish to pursue this type of activity.
The various actions will primarily focus on activities such as reading, conversing with residents, board games, and outings near the establishment. They will be conducted for 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, over 2 months.
Which EHPADs are involved?
In total, 10 establishments will be part of the experimentation:
- 7 establishments in Nice: Institut Claude Pompidou, Croix Rouge Russe, Fondation Pauliani, La Colline, Les Lucioles, Les Petites Soeurs des Pauvres/Ma Maison, Mais Saint-Jean Hรฉlios.
- 3 establishments in Cannes: Les Bougainvillรฉes, Les Broussailles, Les Gabres (La Bocca).
The experimental action will begin in July 2019.
