The SMART Deal is a digital transition plan aimed at implementing projects that will, through digital means, achieve a dual ambition: to provide better service to users by improving the internal performance of the Departmental Council and to address the challenges of the territory to improve the quality of life for residents.
To do so, a committee of experts was established during the launch on January 16. It is composed of thirty members from various backgrounds: players from the economic sector, the public domain, specialized journalists, academics and researchers, entrepreneurs… They all share a real expertise in the digital field and a good understanding of the territory’s challenges. Their mission is to bring about and design projects to promote digital transition in the Alpes-Maritimes.
Yesterday, the President of the Department, Charles Ange Ginésy, revealed the identity of the president of the Committee of Experts of the SMART Deal.
It is Marco Landi, a figure who has had a distinguished career in the field of new technologies and has held pivotal roles internationally at Texas Instruments and Apple, two companies considered globally as “digital giants.”
“His willingness to bring his vast experience and expertise to the Alpes-Maritimes is a real opportunity for our department,” commented Charles-Ange Ginésy.
Marco Landi will be tasked, “voluntarily,” with leading the work of the committee of experts responsible for steering the digital revolution for the benefit of the citizens. This includes areas such as risk prevention and education, for example.
