11 schools participated in this competition. Their projects were carefully analyzed by a jury made up of practitioners of educational technology (local authorities / Rectorate).
This competition is part of the GREEN Deal and SMART Deal policy initiated by the Alpes-Maritimes Department.
This initiative was appreciated by the students, who were able to give free rein to their imagination to complete their projects on diverse and varied subjects, combining several school disciplines with the common thread of sustainable development in the department.
According to Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, President of the Departmental Council: “As part of the SMART Deal, along with the Department’s services, we are involved in this digital revolution that has led children to reflect on various topics, with thematic cross-disciplinarity with all school subjects. The reflection is also carried out around the GREEN Deal, around sustainable development, which should lead us to live better, to act better in our environment to protect it.”
According to Philippe Panarello, Diocesan Director of the Alpes-Maritimes: “It is the recognition of a very well-executed work. Clearly, this idea of sustainable development has inspired our young students.”
