While waiting for the release of state stocks, the Department of Alpes-Maritimes has distributed 110,000 surgical masks to professionals in home support and care services and institutions (nursing homes, independent living residences, care facilities for individuals with disabilities, and at-risk children) while 75,000 masks will be provided to equip firefighters.
For Charles-Anges Ginésy, president of the community: “In a situation of extreme crisis, the Departmental Council fully participates in the general mobilization and supports, within its means, the effort undertaken by medical personnel. We stand in solidarity with all healthcare professionals in the fight against the Coronavirus.”
