A First in France and Europe
The Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council and its partners, the Sophia Antipolis Agglomeration Community, Universitรฉ Cรดte d’Azur, as well as the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aim to promote responsible and ethical Artificial Intelligence, with humans at the center of the discussions.
For this reason, they have decided to launch the Observatory of Technological, Economic, and Societal Impacts of Artificial Intelligence (OTESIA): a unique initiative in France but also in Europe.
Inspired by OBVIA, this observatory will focus on multiple topics such as health, education, and well-being.
OTESIA will provide in-depth reflection on Artificial Intelligence and will measure how it impacts and evolves relationships, the working world, society… The studies and analyses provided will help inform citizens and support public policies.
Signing of a Partnership with OBVIA*
For the first time in the world, a partnership will be signed between two Observatories on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence on Humans: OTESIA and OBVIA.
The Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council will also sign the Montreal Declaration, an international charter that provides recommendations for the development of ethical and responsible Artificial Intelligence.
