The development of E-Health in Nice

Latest News

It is at 27 Delvalle, the iconic building of connected health and the European Health City, desired by the city of Nice, that the mayor of Nice, Philippe Pradal, and Jean-Michel Sanchez, Deputy General Director of Engie Ineo, signed a partnership agreement within the framework of the e-health theme.

ENGIE Ineo has committed to supporting four projects, spearheaded by the city and the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Nice, related to innovation in health, which will improve the quality of life for the people of Nice, as well as support for the elderly. “The city has a demographic that is 12 years older than the national average,” recalls Olivier Guรฉrin, deputy to the mayor of Nice in charge of health.

Another point emphasized by Philippe Pradal is that “this health innovation also enables the initiation of a new economic dynamic.”

The four presented projects will be: the launch of a health application serving citizens, the establishment of workshops to raise awareness among the children of Nice about health and environmental preservation, the deployment of a reflection on ethics and new technologies, and finally, the implementation of the “Urban Health Environment Monitoring” project, which focuses on environmental impact, particularly air quality, as well as health in an urban world.

Financially, ENGIE commits to providing 80,000 euros for the development of innovative tools in the field of connected health (e-health). Meanwhile, the city of Nice will provide premises and a 3D printer, amounting to 18,825 euros… the precision of the figure reminds us that the mayor of Nice is an accountant!

So, approximately 100,000 euros will be invested to carry out these innovative projects.
