Yesterday morning from 9:30 a.m., the Insertion-Employment Service of the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis, the Cรดte d’Azur University, and “AG2R La Mondiale” welcomed the first 2018-2019 class of the Digital Academy.
For the first edition of the Digital Academy, Dominique Estrosi Sassone, Senator of Alpes-Maritimes and Metropolitan Councilor, welcomed yesterday 12 job seekers followed by the Local Plan for Employment Insertion of the NCA Metropolis.
โBecause mastering digital tools is an essential skill for you in the world of work.โ The objective is to validate 5 training modules related to digital knowledge and its appropriate uses.
The Insertion-Employment Service has implemented this training course to facilitate their job search efforts and professional insertion pathways and to prevent their digital exclusion. The Cรดte d’Azur University provides the expertise of its trainers and a connected room. The funding for this initiative is provided by “AG2R La Mondiale.”
“Equality in employment starts with equal opportunities in job searching: not existing digitally significantly reduces the chances of returning to work,” assures D. Estrosi Sassone.
By March 2020, nearly 100 job seekers are expected to benefit from this training.
