15 employees from companies located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur were awarded individually or collectively during the award ceremony of the photo contest ‘The Diversity of Origins: Employees in Focus!’ organized by the business network IMS-Entreprendre pour la Cité in PACA°.

The goal of this photo contest? To engage employees in combating stereotypes and to change the perception of diversity of origins in the workplace.

Initiated by IMS, ten companies participated in this photo contest: Adecco, the Ambassade de Bretagne, the Caisse d’Epargne Provence-Alpes-Corse, Convers Télémarketing, EDF, Le Groupe La Poste, MMV, SAP, SNCF, and WIT.

The 40 photographs taken by the employees of these companies as part of the contest each, in their own way, demonstrate what the diversity of origins truly represents for employees in the corporate world, and what it brings to them on a daily basis.

As Elisabeth Fuchs, Director of IMS PACA, reminds us: “Even if the question of origins seems somewhat intangible in the business world, it is possible to take action. Diversity policies of companies must primarily focus on addressing stereotypes, which are at the heart of discrimination phenomena. This is the entire purpose of this contest associating company employees, and whose photographs will be widely disseminated in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.”
