The Woofest, a traveling festival dedicated to dog lovers, will be held on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice this Saturday, 26th and Sunday, 27th of October. This event, co-organized with the city of Nice, offers a weekend full of activities and discoveries for all dog enthusiasts.
Since its creation in 2018 by My Pet Agency, the Woofest has established itself as the unmissable event for dog enthusiasts in France. This weekend, the Promenade des Anglais hosts an urban race, specially designed for dogs and their owners. This obstacle course allows participants to enjoy a breathtaking sea view while sharing a sporty moment with their four-legged companion.
For those who prefer a slower pace, a guided walk is organized through the iconic sites of Nice. Accompanied by canine experts, participants will discover the city’s charms in the company of their dogs.
Activities and Workshops
The Woofest also offers a range of varied activities. Between cani-paddle, agility, and educational workshops, the festival provides a variety of fun and educational activities. Experts will lead sessions on mantrailing (scent tracking) and provide advice on animal osteopathy. The festival also hosts a brand village to discover the latest innovations in the canine world.
The Delta Festival, a regular of Marseille, will be part of the event today for an open-air concert. It’s an opportunity to enjoy a unique musical evening, where festival-goers can dance as a duo with their dogs.
