The dual project “sport and career transition at EDHEC: Champions on the Nice campus”

Latest News

The “High-Level Athletes” program at ESPEME offers a fully e-learning based course for obtaining a diploma of the same value as the traditional ESPEME program.

The high-level athletes program perfectly addresses the challenge of the “dual project” of sports and career transition. This education allows one to graduate and remain competitive in the job market.

Every high-level athlete is assigned a tutor who supports them throughout their training, preventing any feelings of isolation.

The aim is to find a balance between the academic schedule and high-level sports, even though all classes are held online. There are no time and location constraints, and no attendance requirements except for exams, which are organized in multiple sessions according to the schedules of sports federations.

Among the enrollees are champions such as Benoît Denoyelle (Rugby), Geoffrey Megi (Pentathlon), Alizée Morel (Swimming), Reina-Flor Okori (100m hurdles), Robins Tchale Watchou (Rugby), Charlotte Lembach (Fencing), and Damien Chouly (French national rugby team).

For example, Alizée Morel from Olympique Nice Natation, who learned about this program through Clement Lefert, a student at EDHEC, explains: “Thanks to my tutor, we made a schedule with my training and my online courses.”

Similarly, Charlotte Lembach, 26 years old, European vice-champion in team sabre, learned about this BBA EDHEC program through other athletes at INSEP and states: “This program allows me to invest 100% in my sports project while studying at a prestigious school. Especially since I can progress at my own pace. There is tremendous flexibility and that’s what I was looking for.”
