The Nice Hockey team is called “The Eagles,” and if you underestimate them, they will ruffle your feathers. After their first match on Saturday, September 4th against the team from La-Roche-sur-Yon, which ended with a 3-0 victory, it was time for the Eagles to present themselves for the new Division 1 season, which promises to be intense.
Clearly, it’s back-to-school season, and whether it’s work or school, fortunately, we can add leisure to the mix, and for some, that means sports. Yet for others, the stakes are higher. This is the case for the Eagles of Nice, who were eliminated in the semifinals last season and settling for third place on the podium is no longer their objective. They know that the best perch is being number one. That is the goal set by captain Aurรฉlien Macon and his team. For him, last year’s results were good, but they could have done better. So, that will be for this season. There were few changes in the nest, but they hope that the new recruits will fill the gaps left by the departing players.
