The Ecologists criticize unnecessary and imposed projects in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Beyond the large unnecessary and imposed projects (GPII), which monopolize the media, such as Sivens or Notre-Dame-des-Landes, the Alpes Maritimes department takes the cake with no less than 8 operations on its own, far more than most other regions.

Laurent LANQUAR denounces the department with the most useless and retrograde projects: “The world has changed but local politicians continue with the same mindset, implementing outdated projects.”

Obviously, the two megalomaniac projects of the “Deputy-Mayor-Regional&Metropolitan-President,” the underground “TraMilliard” and the absurdity of the Plaine du Var by Christian ESTROSI, are part of this shameful list of public money waste.”

This list of unnecessary projects also includes the luxury hotel project in Saint-Martin-Vรฉsubie, supported by ร‰ric CIOTTI, while the town’s hotels are already struggling and far from full.

The highly controversial doubling of the Tende tunnel is also mentioned. This tunnel will allow the passage of 2000 trucks and will disfigure the Roya Valley, which is still preserved today.

The wooden spoon goes to the city of Menton, which alone accounts for 4 projects, including 3 parking lots.
