IPAG, in partnership with the Presse Club 06 and AFREP, invites you to attend a conference this Monday at 6:30 PM in the New York amphitheater of the Nice Business School. The lecture will be given by Mr. Olivier Biscaye, editorial director of the Nice-Matin Group, on the topic: “What economic models for the regional daily press in face of online competition?”

ipag-conf-etudiants.jpg Faced with online competition in the early 1990s, it was around 1995 that the daily press decided to invest in online information with initial difficulties in finding a coherent economic model between print and online press.

In 2012, this issue remains open, and while refining already tested solutions, the daily press is experimenting with new solutions related to the new Web 2.0 usages.

Olivier Biscaye, head of the regional daily press company in the Southeast, will present the solutions chosen by the Nice-Matin group and the solutions envisioned for the future.
