The only electronic music festival to take place on a public beach on the French coast, Les Plages Electroniques will once again transform the beach of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes into a gigantic ephemeral dancefloor, with feet in the sand and a view of the Mediterranean Sea. A bold challenge successfully met in 2006 and 2007, now continued with the same formula for a third edition.
Les Plages Electroniques consists of five themed nights, offering five “musical aesthetics” that are still underrepresented on the Azure dancefloors, and yet are current on the main European scenes (London, Berlin, Barcelona, Paris…).
The goal is to make these music trends accessible to a wider audience through high-quality programming and a low entry fee: a simple but highly effective concept offering the opportunity to enjoy electronic music outdoors in a prestigious and friendly setting.
