A gathering to inaugurate this new multi-care facility with “family.” On the program: presentation of the structure, tasting of cakes made by the children, and photo projection.
Eliot sur la colline opened its doors on September 21. The crèche has 22 cradles. Dedicated to companies and communities, the structure welcomes children whose parents work for La Poste and various ministries.
It is open to other companies wishing to offer their employees this innovative service, and in some cases, to nearby families.
To care for the children, a 100% qualified educational team: a Director-Nurse, an Assistant-Young Child Educator, two Childcare Assistants, two Auxiliary Childcare Helpers, and a Maintenance Staff member.
Eliot sur la colline is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The crèche is approved by the Maternal and Child Protection services and contracted by the Family Allowance Fund.
The crèche operates under the principle of a municipal crèche regarding parental rates.
An Ecological Crèche
The entire structure meets the standards set by Crèches 1,2,3 Soleil, the manager.
The construction and arrangements are healthy and ecological, fitting into a sustainable development approach. Thus, materials used for the crèche’s layout were chosen for their ecological or organic specificities and technical performance: floors in natural linoleum, organic paints, solid beech wood joinery, partitions in natural gypsum…
The goal is to ensure high-quality crèches where indoor air quality is exemplary. The daily management of the crèche also goes in this direction: organic cotton sleep sacks, bottles without phthalates or bisphenol A, ecological diapers, eco-designed furniture, wooden toys…
Crèches 1,2,3 Soleil pays particular attention to the children’s diet. Consequently, each meal will include at least two products from organic farming. Meals are delivered cold and then reheated in steam ovens. Microwaves are banned, as the crèche also protects against electromagnetic waves.
