The National Energy Festival was an opportunity to visit a BBC-labeled bioclimatic wooden frame house in the town of Carros.
The bioclimatic habitat represents a new vision of building, taking into consideration three main axes: Environment, Energy, and Health.
Thoughtful placement, optimal orientation, relevant choice of materials, efficient insulation, and the use of renewable energy are all solutions to achieve energy savings and thus minimize the impact of one’s home on the environment.
