The number of people hospitalized for a SARS-CoV-2 infection continues to decrease slightly, dropping to 14,028 (compared to 16,264 a week ago), according to the latest health authority report released on Tuesday evening.
On Tuesday, 1,253 people were in intensive care, compared to 1,555 a week ago.
Covid-19 has claimed at least 28,940 lives in France, including 18,590 in hospitals, which is 84 more compared to Monday, and 10,350 in social and medico-social establishments, whose figures had not been reported since Friday.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, two more deaths were recorded yesterday, bringing the total to 251 people.
