The epidemic wave is still growing in France, with 471 deaths in twenty-four hours, bringing the total to 4,503 deaths in hospitals. The number of patients in intensive care was 6,399 on Thursday evening.
This number does not yet take into account the figures from nursing homes. The provisional figure, announced for the first time by Jรฉrรดme Salomon, Director General of Health, is 884 deaths in nursing homes since the beginning of the health crisis.
In the PACA region, the number of positive cases is 6,204, with 141 deaths.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, the number of deaths has reached 32, including 17 at the Nice University Hospital Center (CHU de Nice).
