“The ‘Etoiles de Mougins’ or when gastronomy hosts its festival!”

Latest News

Should we remind you that the French gastronomic meal is crowned with laurels as it is now listed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity? A dash of imagination, a pinch of perseverance, a lot of audacity, and passion have turned the Étoiles de Mougins into an International Festival of Gastronomy that today stands as a reference in the global gastronomic landscape.

mougins-gastronomie.jpg For three days in September, the village of Mougins transforms into a vast open-air theater of taste and welcomes the world’s greatest chefs to share with the public the love of a profession and a shared passion.

With 296 chefs received since its creation in 2006, representing 412 Michelin Stars including 29 three-star chefs, 28 invited countries, 300 journalists, and 25,000 visitors per edition… The numbers speak for themselves…

Cuisine is experiencing an unprecedented craze, proving, if necessary, the desire of each individual to rediscover a little conviviality and creativity in a world where the virtual has replaced gestures as simple as essential.

Mougins, a precursor of this trend with its festival “Les Étoiles de Mougins,” invites, for six years now, the greatest chefs to its table and makes the secrets of gastronomy accessible to all, in all its forms.

The whole city honors its identity: renowned restaurants, more modest establishments, wine cellars, museums, art galleries, and even prestigious golf courses actively participate in this now essential meeting of delights and flavors.
