A unique event in the cinematographic and cultural landscape, the European Days of Dubbing take on a new momentum this year.
For the first time in Europe, artists, authors, and performers from the three countries where dubbing is a historical foundation of audiovisual culture will come together.
This second edition of the E.D.D. (from May 10 to 12) will be a unique opportunity to meet creators who have employed different traditions, recognized as the most effective in the world. The spectators will sharpen their cinephile acumen for a more informed perception of the art of dubbing.
-A new step in intra-European cultural exchanges
Screenings of films and television series in dubbed versions will systematically be followed by debates that will reveal the workings of the dubbing profession.
This crossroads will reveal how works benefit from a dubbed version on television, in cinema, or on DVD and can thus circulate around the globe, with both so-called art films and popular-audience films.

-Thematic workshop: Writing and performing for dubbing: discovering the professions that allow the creation of a cinematographic or audiovisual work in French version.

Midnight in Paris, followed by a lecture by Jacqueline Cohen, author
of the French versions of Woody Allen’s films.
Underground by Emir Kusturica, followed by a meeting with Juliette
Vigouroux, author of the French version of the film.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, with Kelyan Blanc, French
voice of actor Daniel Radcliffe, and Juliette Vigouroux, author of the
French versions of all 8 films in the series.

Screenings of episodes from the series Castle and Sherlock. Meetings surrounding the dubbing of crime series in Europe, with guests who participated in the dubbing of these two series in Spain, France, Great Britain, and Italy.
