Building on the success of the French Alpine Skiing Handisport Cup in 2011, the Alpes Maritimes Handisport Departmental Committee, supported by the General Council, is organizing the final of the IPC European Cup this year, from Monday, March 26 to Friday, March 30 in Auron (06).

handiski.jpg Over five days of competition, more than eighty athletes, representing the European elite, have gathered at the Auron station to compete in three categories: sitting, standing, and visually impaired.

Among the twelve nations present, the French team, freshly returned from Canada where the World Cup final was held, with no less than seven crystal globes, is counting on this European Cup final to shine in front of its audience and end the season on a high note.

The best skiers of the French group, including Vincent Gauthier Manuel and Marie Bochet, 2011 World Champions and winners of the Crystal Globe in the 2012 overall standings, will be present for the last major event of the season.
