Departmental Museum of Asian Arts
For fans of animated films, video games, and comic books, the Museum of Asian Arts offers a workshop on the profession of a “character designer.” This workshop will allow participants to understand the basics of character design and create their own sketch from simple shapes. This 20 to 30-minute workshop is open continuously to visitors aged 8 and up. Access is free within the limit of available places from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Furthermore, the 13 Dreams Company will bring the museum’s collections to life through theatrical vignettes. These mini-performances will take place in various areas of the museum, offering visitors a whimsical and surprising journey at the heart of the exhibited works. This activity is accessible to all, without prior reservation, within the limit of available places from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Departmental Cultural Space Lympia
Marc Chalvin, a press and comic book illustrator, will host a live creation session of a comic book on a 10-meter-long roll. The story will evolve based on visitor suggestions, creating a moment of exchange around the development of a storyline and the creation of a comic book. This activity is open to all, within the limit of available places from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Visitors can also test their knowledge of the art of comic books and their heroes at 6 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM through an interactive and entertaining quiz. Playable in teams, this activity is ideal for families. To participate, it is necessary to book via this site.
