This Friday, February 22, 2013, at 6:30 PM, the Maison de l’Environnement is offering the public a “life-sized” underwater dive. Presented by members of the association “Les Aquanautes,” this conference will take the audience into the depths of the deep blue sea through unexpected underwater images of the Baie des Anges.
Rare and astonishing images will unveil the richness of the marine fauna along the Nice coastline. In the area accessible to swimmers and divers, the audience will discover a rich and discreet fauna with the various specific biotopes of the coasts. They will observe sandy or rocky seabeds, dive into Posidonia meadows, along the coralligenous drop-offs.
Understanding the organization of underwater life, approaching the concept of marine biology through field anecdotes and images, this is the program offered by this conference where each shot is a breathtaking testament to the marine diversity and the complexity of a still-unknown fragile world.
