We realize that, contrary to a shift from meaning to nonsense which characterizes the work of many current artists often labeled as postmodern, Alain Lestié’s works are rooted in a practice full of meaning, far from any superficial critique of contemporary art.
It is our responsibility, as a gallery, to demonstrate the methods and stakes of this work and to share the artistic experience and emotion that these works provide us.
