The exhibition Divina Natura in Cimiez

Latest News

Until September 3rd at the Nice Archaeology Museum – Cimiez site

Created in collaboration with the Artesens association, this interactive and playful exhibition focuses on the fertility of the land and nature myths in various ancient civilizations.

It allows visitors to discover collections from the Cimiez archaeological site and the relationships the Romans had with other great civilizations (the Celts, the Greeks, the Africans, etc.) through high-quality reproductions.

The first area, dedicated to the remains of ancient Cemenelum, presents works from the museum’s collections with their molds, which can be tactilely explored by both sighted and visually impaired visitors.

In the Divina Natura sound, tactile, and olfactory journey created by Artesens, key works representing deities associated with the beneficial forces of nature have been selected from the collections of prestigious museums. They evoke the civilizations of Persia, Greece, Egypt, Celtic Europe, Africa, Mexico, and Australia.
