The exhibition “To My Mountains, Hervé Gourdel,” created in tribute to Hervé Gourdel and unveiled since September 21 at the Departmental Museum of Asian Arts, will be presented until December 4 on the forecourt of the City Hall, in the Citadel of Villefranche-sur-Mer.
With the agreement and invaluable help of his family and friends, and in partnership with the Hervé Gourdel association created last year to honor his memory, it was possible to gather dozens of high-quality photographs taken by this talented amateur during his hikes in our Alpes-Maritimes mountains, capturing all their beauty, and from his travels around the world, which attest to the richness of his encounters with local populations.
Collected and enhanced through the artistic work accomplished by scenographer Brigitte Fryland, it is a very original exhibition that the Department presents to the public.
