Opening night this Friday, February 24, at 7 PM at the Anatole Jakovsky International Museum of Naïve Art – Château Sainte-Hélène at 23 Fabron Avenue
From February 25 to March 26, the exhibition “Pièces à conviction” will showcase major works from the Jean-Dominique Jacquemond Donation at the Museum’s Documentation Center in 2015.
The exhibition, presented on the first floor of the Anatole Jakovsky International Museum of Naïve Art, will feature solely works and archival pieces that have entered the Museum’s collections thanks to the efforts of Jean-Dominique Jacquemond.
These archival pieces will demonstrate the significance of the Museum’s latest acquisitions in the field of Art Brut and Singulier: Gaston Chaissac, Anselme Boix-Vives, Barbiero, Forestier…
Simultaneously, archival pieces from the Jacquemond Donation will highlight the exceptional nature of the new Jean-Dominique Jacquemond Center, which has enhanced the Jakovsky Museum’s library with previously unseen documents.
