The exhibition #pinkislife!… at the Anatole Jakovsky International Museum of Naive Art.

Until April 20, 2020, the exhibition #roseestlavie!… at the Musée International d’Art Naïf Anatole Jakovsky.

Based on the Naïve painting from the permanent collection and primarily from the foundational donation of art critic and collector Anatole Jakovsky, the exhibition #roseestlavie!… was born from the interest in the analysis made by the latter.

Indeed, this analysis allows us to consider what Naïve Art embodies as a deliberate gesture, far from the pejorative vision it is often associated with. Therefore, the purpose of the exhibition is to visually reclaim the clichés that spontaneously come to mind when discussing Naïve Art, in order to better defuse them and reveal the philosophy of life it embodies and its proximity to the most contemporary societal questions (notably the preservation of human relationships and the environment).
