The association VSArt (Volunteering and Support through Art), since its creation over 23 years ago, has been dedicated to improving the living conditions of individuals in situations of moral, physical, or material fragility by giving them access to culture and art through a variety of unique actions.
The goal of VSArt’s volunteers: to promote access to art for young people, appeal to their intelligence, observation skills, and critical thinking, evoke emotions in them, inspire them to create, and value them by organizing an event.
During this school year, more than a hundred children from the leisure centers “Agora Nice Est”, “La Semeuse-La Condamine” and the association “Paje”, as well as residents of the Specialized Care Homes “Canta Galet” and “L’Oustaou”, have been able to visit museums, meet artists, and familiarize themselves with art. They have subsequently created their own works (drawings, sculptures, collages…).
